Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We are a contracted, in-network provider with Premera and Regence. Private pay is also accepted, and a superbill for out-of-network insurance companies can be provided upon request.

 

What are your rates for private pay speech/language therapy?

Where are services provided?

We are currently providing evaluations and treatment sessions at our office in West Seattle and virtual sessions to any child in Washington state. 

 

How can I get my child started in speech therapy?

Please add your child to the             . Once an appointment becomes available, we will discuss your concerns and determine if our services will be a good fit for your child. An online intake packet will be sent to your email, and once completed, you will be able to schedule an evaluation. 

 

What does an evaluation look like at Upbeat Speech Therapy?

​

An evaluation consists of interviewing the caregiver to document concerns, an informal evaluation of your child's communication skills by observing their spontaneous language and play skills and administering a standardized assessment. If your child has been evaluated by an outside source such as a school speech/language evaluation or by another clinic within the past year, an evaluation may not be required, and recent evaluation results can be used to guide treatment planning.

 

What does a treatment session look like at Upbeat Speech Therapy?

Treatment sessions are 30 minutes long. Caregivers are encouraged to observe and participate in the speech therapy session so treatment strategies can be implemented within the home environment. If your child engages better without your presence, caregivers may watch the sessions via HIPAA-compliant zoom.
